is anticipated that the trail would eventually connect to the Wilbur
Wright Trail on the northeast side of New Castle, as well as southward
to the National Road Heritage Trail near
Knightstown. The new trail will also pass about 1 mile north of
the popular Westwood Park
mountain bike trail area, which contains a scenic 10-mile loop.

Descrption: About
4.5 miles of this corridor were included in the DNR purchase of former
Penn-Central property. Aside from this initial progress, the
trail has not been designed, acquired or funded.
