Cities: Crown Point, Schererville, Munster and Dyer, Indiana plus Lansing and Calumet City, Illinois

Endpoints:
South/East - Crown Point
North/West - Calumet City, Illinois

Trailheads: Munster at Centennial Park, Schererville at Redar and Rorhman Parks

Connections: Will connect to the Erie-Lackawanna Trail and Veterans Memorial Trail at Crown Point.

Length: 10 miles in Indiana (plus 5 miles in Illinois)

Descrption: This trail will serve a very large population and connect directly to the 450-mile Burnham Greenway/Grand Illinois trail system in Illinois generating the potential to serve millions. It would be the first off-road, bi-state link in the region, and would become part of the American Discovery Trail network. The trail is planned to continue southeast of Crown Point to Hebron, where it is called the Veterans Memorial Trail.
