Descrption:
This trail will be placed on the abandoned CSX/Monon railroad corridor
running south from downtown Ellettsville. Such rail-trails which pass
through town centers are often very popular and successful. A future connection
to Bloomington is possible along the active rail corridor south of Loesch
Road. A trail route connection through town to the proposed Flatwoods
Trail between Flatwoods Park and Edgewood schools on the west side is
also planned.
