Descrption:
Converse is a tidy, welcoming small town deserving of a stop along a major
recreational trail corridor. This important link will form the west end
of a series of trails, bringing it ever-closer to the developing 40+mile
Nickel Plate Trail in Bunker Hill
just over 10 miles northwestward, and may someday become part of the cross-country
American Discovery Trail.
Future Plans: A
connection to the Sweetser Switch
Trail is planned.
The trail is also a portion of the proposed northern off-road leg of the
American Discovery Trail in Indiana from Richmond
to Crown Point.
