Descrption:
Paths follow a stretch of White River on both sides. Extensive boardwalks, plenty of pleasant river views and shady spots. Also connects to trails around Shadyside Lake (at Cross Street and Alexandria Pike), to Killbuck Wetlands and to beautiful Shadyside Park. The south end of the trail system, which follows White River, becomes a narrow natural surface trail through thick floodplain woods. The whole system makes for an interesting, diverse outing. The asphalt is very rough in places, but all trails are perfect for walking, running or off-road bikes. An unusually active squirrel and goose population will keep bicyclists alert.

Manager: Anderson Parks & Rec

Future Plans: Madison County (MCCOG) has drafted a comprehensive trail plan.
