Trailheads:
-parking areas at Willowcreek, Hamstrom, Samuelson, and McCool Roads
-parking, restrooms, and water at Imagination Glen Park, Olson Park, and Countryside Park

Connections: Connects to the Iron Horse Heritage Trail just west of SR149 via a short concrete walk.  Will eventually connect to the Oak Savannah Trail in Hobart, on its western end, and to the Porter Brickyard Trail on its eastern end.

Length: 10.4 miles

Descrption: One of Indiana's "crown jewel" trails, the P-D traverses some of the most beautiful natural areas in the state. Abundant species of flora and fauna are to be found along the way in the unique ecosystem which gives the trail its name. Just west of SR149, along the eastern half of the trail, the Iron Horse Heritage Trail connects to the P-D Trail with a 10' concrete path, bordered by an ominous looking barbed-wire fence.
