Descrption: Quiet, rural, somewhat wooded southern sections toward Jonesboro. Across from the town of Jonesboro is a scenic pedestrian bridge across the Mississinewa River. Through Marion are several old iron truss bridges. Within the city of Marion are several road crossings. The north end of the trail, toward SR18, is quiet and uninterrupted by crossings. This trail is not connected to the Muncie portion of the Cardinal Greenway except via county roads. The county road route can be followed using dan henry-style pavement markers.

Manager: Cardinal Greenways

Future Plans: Will eventually connect to the Sweetser Switch Trail in Sweetser, and to the existing Mississinewa Riverwalk Trail on the north side of the city.

The trail is also a portion of the proposed northern off-road leg of the American Discovery Trail in Indiana from Richmond to Crown Point.
