Descrption: This
portion of the former A&R "Panhandle" line is being railbanked and preserved
by the Indiana Trails Fund. The local trail group Friends
of Panhandle Pathway meets at the Pulaski County Human Services site
(the Von Tobel building) on Pearl Street in Winamac. at 7pm on the Wednesday
evening before the last Saturday of each month except November and December.
Future Plans: The
first phase will involve acquisition and development a 4.5-mile section
south of Winamac.
